CloakDoc is document processing software for the web and Windows desktop. Prepare PDFs, redact selected sensitive data in batches, and turn printed English scans into searchable PDFs.

How delivery works
Use the Studio in your browser or download the Windows installer. After a verified purchase, activate the paid plan in the browser or connect that purchase to the desktop app. Online access is needed for payment, activation and periodic license verification.
Your files stay on your device during processing
Document processing runs locally in your browser or app. Batch source files may remain in local browser storage until you clear the queue. Payment, licensing and support use online services described in our Privacy Policy.
Review every result
Detection and text recognition can miss content or make mistakes. Inspect output before sharing. Batch redaction creates page-image PDFs and does not retain searchable source text. Names and employment history are not automatically removed by identifier rules. CloakDoc does not certify legal or regulatory compliance.
CloakData for structured data
Documents are only part of the sensitive-data problem. CloakData creates pseudonymized working copies of CSV, XLS and XLSX datasets locally in the Windows desktop app. Choose which fields to keep, consistently tokenize or redact, and preserve relationships between related tables by assigning matching key columns to the same relationship group.

Example: customer_id=847291 can become a stable token such as CUSTOMER-… everywhere that relationship appears, while an email field can be redacted or tokenized according to your field rules.
CloakData is included with Pro and Enterprise and supports up to 1,000,000 records per run across selected tables. Practical capacity still depends on device memory, storage and input structure. Pseudonymization is not a guarantee of anonymity or regulatory compliance.
Choose a workflow with clear limits
The manual viewer adds visual overlays and retains underlying PDF content. It is not permanent removal. Standalone audio redaction and automatic face or signature removal are not implemented.
